Anthropic has announced a multi-year global alliance with DXC Technology, one of the world's largest IT services companies. Under the agreement, DXC will train tens of thousands of Claude-certified forward-deployed engineers (FDEs)-engineers embedded directly inside customer organizations-to integrate Claude into the systems DXC operates for major banks, airlines, insurers, manufacturers, and government agencies.
These systems, which DXC has managed for decades, handle the transactions, claims, and operations that businesses depend on, all under strict security and compliance requirements. Before bringing Claude to these clients, DXC deployed Claude within its own operations-spanning roughly 115,000 employees across 70 countries-under similarly rigorous standards. Notably, DXC collaborated with Claude to write more than 95% of the code for DXC OASIS, its new AI-native orchestration platform for managed services.
DXC has also joined the Claude Partner Network, Anthropic's network of consulting and services firms that deliver Claude to enterprise clients.
Claude in DXC's Own Operations
DXC tested Claude internally before offering it to customers. In April 2026, the company launched DXC OASIS, a platform for managing customers' IT systems in which AI agents handle much of the routine work. Claude now serves as the default foundation model powering the platform's agentic workflows.
Claude was also the primary tool DXC used to build the platform. The firm estimates that Claude accelerated software development by a factor of 10, with more than 95% of the code generated by Claude and then reviewed by human software engineers. OASIS currently serves over 50 DXC customers, with plans to expand globally.
"DXC helps the world's largest banks, airlines, insurers, and government agencies put new technology to work," said Paul Smith, Chief Commercial Officer at Anthropic. "They proved Claude inside their own operations first, under the same security and compliance requirements their customers face. Now we're bringing Claude inside those environments together, industry by industry, with engineers who have already done it themselves."
A Team of Claude-Certified Engineers
For its FDE program, DXC will recruit engineers from its existing development teams and certify them through Anthropic Academy, Anthropic's training and certification program for partner engineers. DXC has layered its own curriculum on top of Anthropic Academy, with training tailored to the mission-critical systems its customers operate.
The alliance will initially focus on four areas where DXC already runs large customer operations and where Claude can deliver value today:
- Insurance: DXC will leverage Claude to provide agentic solutions and modernize core systems, accounting for each customer's business context, operating model, and strategic needs.
- Modernization as a Service (MaaS): DXC is using Claude to help enterprise customers analyze, refactor, and modernize legacy codebases more quickly and accurately than traditional approaches allow.
- Cybersecurity: For OASIS, DXC is developing an always-on security engineer subagent, built on Claude Security, to be deployed across its security operations centers (SOCs).
- Application services: DXC is using Claude to build OASIS agents that embed Claude directly into the application maintenance and management environments it operates for enterprise customers.
"For more than 50 years, DXC and the companies it was built from run the systems that run the world," said Raul Fernandez, President and CEO of DXC Technology. "We know what it takes to deliver in these environments. This alliance with Anthropic combines trust and experience with the most advanced AI technology available, and gives our customers something they cannot get anywhere else. We are already using Claude across our own operations and our new OASIS platform. Now we are scaling that capability directly into the mission-critical technology systems we run for our customers. This is a defining moment for DXC and for the industry."
